What to look forward to on Super Bowl Sunday

We are days away from the season finale of the NFL this Sunday in Los Angeles. The Rams and the Bengals are set to face off in a matchup that could be one of the most explosive in recent history. What should we all be looking out for in Super Bowl 56?

In this upcoming matchup between the Rams and Bengals, there is a lot to look out for, but these are the few that will stand out. Burrow has impressed the entire NFL with his performance this year and in the post-season as well. After suffering an ACL injury last year in his rookie year and coming back the next to lead his team to a Super Bowl there is no question why he won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award this year. Many are expecting Burrow to come back to reality in this matchup against the Rams because of their defense, however, I believe Burrow will live up to the hype and give one of the best Super Bowl performances we’ve seen in years. Although his offensive line is not as potent and should not hold up against the Rams star-studded defensive line, his stubbornness to continue the play and fight through sacks will lift him in this game and will make plays to his former LSU Tiger Ja’Marr Chase. With a lot of pressure on him and potentially being the first player to win a National Championship, being a first-round pick, and a chance to win a Super Bowl in his second year, there is a lot of expectation for a young Quarterback in his second year. If anyone could live up to those expectations Joe Cool can do it.

Another thing to look out for in this Super Bowl is the first Super Bowl for veteran Quarterback Matt Stafford. After having great performances in his recent years with the Detroit Lions, there were only bad times as well not being able to make it to the playoffs and the promised land in those years as well. After the Rams went big on Stafford in the off-season giving up Jared Goff and two first-round picks, in his first postseason he was able to live up to the expectations presented to him and make a Super Bowl in his first year with the Rams. He is not the whole reason why the Rams are there because they do have an outstanding defense and a talented offense, but after going after him in the off-season made the Rams a Super Bowl or bust team and spending big after that as well too on other assets. They were able to trade for Von Miller and Odell Beckham JR adding to the most talented rosters we have ever seen in the NFL. In this matchup, you should look out for if Stafford can live up to the expectations given to him in this off-season, and will he lift this team and bring their second Super Bowl since the first in 1999 with Kurt Warner.

There is one more thing to look out for in Super Bowl 56 and it’s not from either team. The Pepsi Halftime show will be performed by Dre Day including artists Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. This will be one of the most star-studded Super Bowl performances we have seen in years and could be another surprise performance as well. For all the hotties around, there is a chance you can see Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion as well pop out and add to this already lit Pepsi Halftime show. It will be a fun night in Los Angeles Sunday night and we all should expect a great game, a great halftime performance, and more importantly the commercials throughout the entire 4-hour event.
