Closing thoughts: Justin and I are going to be doing more video work like this as we get into summer, and as we head into the 2021 season for the Chiefs. We will likely be doing stuff on rookies as well as younger players.
Breaking down Powell was a ton of fun, and he and Trevor Lawrence had phenomenal chemistry together. I think Justin was most happy with his ability to make contested catches as well as his crafty route running. Go watch the video, he made some great grabs and had some killer routes. He’s a technician. I liked the physicality he played the game with. He seems to play with a chip on his shoulder, but I love seeing a guy that seeks contact to end plays.
