Power Rankings Digest: Week 14

Has there ever been a more New York Jets experience than watching them bite on a double move while in cover zero to give up a game-losing touchdown with no time left? That move not only cost defensive coordinator Gregg Williams his job, but put the nail in the coffin for them as the worst team in the NFL.

There was also a major upset this week in the NFL as the Washington Football Team defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers (which if you follow my Twitter, @jdiz1617, you would have seen I called at the beginning of the week). Alex Smith and his bloodied leg did just enough to defeat the Steelers on their home field.

The Washington defense, especially their front four, is extremely talented. It was a bad matchup for the Steelers. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos in a game that the score would make it seem closer than it was. The Chiefs had multiple chances in the red zone that they did not capitalize on and had two Tyreek Hill touchdowns that did not count.

The Chiefs have been atop the power rankings all year and aren’t going anywhere. There is some movement at the top though. Let’s check it out!
