Long-time Chief and fan-favorite Dustin Colquitt is headed to Pittsburgh, according to Adam Schefter.
To make room for him, the Steelers are releasing P Jordan Berry.
Colquitt is entering his 16th season in the league, but it will be his first outside of Kansas City. When news broke earlier in the offseason that Colquitt would not be returning to K.C., some thought he was hanging up the cleats for good. Colquitt, however, confirmed on Twitter that it was not on his terms.
Colquitt now returns to a place where his father, Craig Colquitt, won two Super Bowls. Dustin joined his brother, Britton, and his dad as a Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs victory in February.
The Chiefs do not face the Steelers in the 2020 regular season, but could potentially meet in the playoffs.
