Chiefs announce limited capacity, plan for 2020 season ticket members

Due to ongoing public health concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chiefs have announced that Arrowhead Stadium will only be filled to a limited capacity in 2020.

A specific number has not been announced, but a plan for season ticket members has been.

According to the Chiefs release on the team website, all Season Ticket Members (STM) will have their 2020 payment credited for the 2021 season, and season ticket prices will not increase for 2021.

STM will be included in single game presale for games after a final capacity is determined, and they will receive a year of tenure regardless of if they go to any games in 2020.

For those who are not STM but purchased single-game tickets, refunds will be made through the method of payment. If tickets were bought through a secondary site, such as Ticketmaster, StubHub, GameTime, or others, purchasers are encouraged to reach out to those sites specifically if they have any questions.

While many were looking forward to celebrating the Super Bowl LIV victory at Arrowhead on September 10, it will be an unusual celebration with a limited number of fans.
