Panini America gave Chief fans a first look at first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire in a Chiefs uniform Monday morning.
Panini America is dropping rookie cards for the 2020 NFL Draft class, and Edwards-Helaire’s was released as part of the first batch of running backs. Jonathan Taylor, D’Andre Swift, and J.K. Dobibns’ cards were also released in their first group of RB’s.
Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and Chiefs Kingdom are excited to see Edwards-Helaire in action in a KC uniform.
As a junior at LSU in 2019, Edwards-Helaire ran for over 1,400 yards and 16 touchdowns, helping the Tigers to a 15-0 record and a national championship.
His elusiveness and dual-threat ability make him a prime fit for Andy Reid’s offense, and he could become the feature back in the Kansas City offense for 2020 and beyond.
