It is no secret that Tyrann Mathieu helped transform the Chiefs defense from one of the worst in the league to a top-10 unit.
One fan on Twitter even went as far as saying Mathieu is already top-three to ever play for the Chiefs.
Mathieu respectfully disagreed, and instead listed his top three.
No one will argue with the inclusion of Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Thomas, but some were pleasantly surprised that Will Shields was listed, including The Athletic’s Seth Keysor.
Shields spent his entire Hall-of-Fame career in Kansas City, and is one of the more underrated Chiefs of all time.
Mahomes of course, led the Chiefs to their first Super Bowl in 50 years, and has an excellent chance to add more rings over the course of his career.
