Chiefs cut WR Felton Davis

The Chiefs released WR Felton Davis with a non-injury designation. The move makes room for re-signed defensive back Andrew Soroh.

Davis originally joined the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State last spring. In East Lansing, he tallied over 1,400 yards and caught 14 touchdowns.

His best season was his junior year in 2017, where he racked up 776 yards and nine touchdowns. An achilles injury shortened his senior season, where he only played six games.

The injury bug hit Davis again last August, where he suffered a shoulder injury in the final preseason game. He eventually wound up on the injured reserve list.

With training camp around the corner, Davis could find another opportunity with another team if he can stay healthy.
