Andy Reid has cemented his legacy as one of the all-time most winning coaches and has done so by the elite ability to build a team. With the most recent class, we’ve now been blessed with eight Andy Reid draft classes. And a ring, had to throw that in there.
For obvious reasons, I’m not going to rank the 2020 class, even though I think it would hold it’s own, but that’s a different article. From 2013-2019, Andy Reid has pulled the trigger on exactly 50 players, and you’ll never guess who’s number one. Okay fine, that was a lame dad joke, but you’ll never guess who’s 50th! This list is based on this snapshot in time, obviously, there’s tons of room for it to fluctuate. Putting Steven Nelson over Mecole Hardman was a hard one for me, but it’s as of right now, it’s true. It was easy to put a guy like KeiVarae Russell at 46, being he was drafted in the third round, and never played a meaningful down. Also, the hype around some of these guys was downright cruel.
