Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins has virtually met with at least seven teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Dobbins was one of the most productive running backs in the country in 2019, rushing for 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns. Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller has Dobbins ranked fourth among running backs in the 2020 draft, behind D’Andre Swift, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Jonathan Taylor.
Despite picking up the option on Damien Williams and bringing in DeAndre Washington, many experts are predicting the Chiefs go RB at pick 32 to give Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid another offensive weapon. If the Chiefs do decide to go in that direction, Dobbins could be a potential option, along with a linebacker, corner, or offensive line depth.
The much-anticipated NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 23rd.
