The Chiefs have brought back another key piece of the 2019 team.
Breeland signed with the Chiefs on a one-year deal last offseason, and now returns on another short deal after drawing little interest in free agency.
In 2019, Breeland played in all 16 games and was one of the best defenders in the NFL playoffs. He also had an interception in Super Bowl LIV.
Veach and his staff now have some flexibility in the draft as well, returning corners Breeland and Charvarius Ward.
