Current Chiefs for Ring of Honor?

There is no doubt that the 2019-2020 season for the Chiefs will go down in history and never be forgotten by a Chiefs fan near or far. All of this being said, who made that much of a difference in getting a Super Bowl? Below are players that I believe will be  Chiefs Hall-of-Famers forever.

1. Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes has already cemented his spot in the Chiefs Ring of Honor. He is one of the best QBs this franchise has ever seen. He single-handedly led the team to a Super Bowl win in just one of his two seasons as starting QB. He is still so young and has his whole career ahead of him, so only time will tell.

2. Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce has been a huge part of the Chiefs offense since the second he took the field for the team. Kelce has been a reliable target for every Chiefs QB he’s played for, and he was a crucial part in getting a Super Bowl 54 win.

3. Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill was a huge pick up for the Chiefs and has made a name for himself in the league. Hill is one of the best WRs in the game, and has been such a crucial part of building up this Chiefs offense over the last four seasons.

4. Eric Fisher

When Eric Fisher was drafted first overall by the Chiefs, there was a lot of discussion about if it was the right choice. Fisher has no doubt had his ups and downs since he has been with the Chiefs, but his presence on offense is more noticeable than ever. He was incredibly important to the 2019-2020 team and I only see more positive seasons for him in the future.

5. Chris Jones

Chris Jones has been the young defensive talent that the Chiefs organization has been looking for. As long as Jones doesn’t get traded or leave the team, I have no doubt in my mind that the numbers he will continue to put up will earn him a for sure spot in the Ring of Honor.
