Chris Jones placed on Reserve/COVID list

After being placed on the COVID list yesterday, Chris Jones is back at practice today.

Because of this, it is safe to assume he is no risk to his teammates and is good to go for Sunday’s matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Jones was believed to have been placed on the list after having been in contact with Rick Burkholder, who tested positive, according to Pro Football Talk.

After a Chiefs staffer tested positive for the virus, Field Yates reports that DT Chris Jones makes his way to the COVID list.

Sunday’s game against the Panthers is still on as scheduled.

There are multiple reports that it is because of contact tracing, not a positive test.
