After their first loss of the season, the Chiefs bounced back on Monday night, with a 26-17 win over the Buffalo Bills.

The story of the game was the Chiefs rushing attack, as the team ran for 245 yards, led by Clyde Edwards-Helaire with 161. That’s the most yards the Chiefs have rushed for since Christmas Day, 2016, against the Broncos.

While the run game stood out, Patrick Mahomes played very well, throwing for 225 yards and two touchdowns, each to Travis Kelce.

As much as the offensive line struggled in the last few weeks, they played well tonight, as the run game consistently got chunks on the ground and Mahomes was only sacked once.

The defense had a bounce-back game, holding Josh Allen to just 122 yards, and the Bills only had 206 yards total.

The final stamp on the victory was a slick interception by Dirty Dan Sorensen.

This win moves the Chiefs to 5-1, and they will travel to Denver on Sunday for week 7, where Le’Veon Bell should make his Chiefs debut.
