Chiefs beat Texans 34-20

The Chiefs opened the Run It Back tour with a victory in the season opener, beating the Texans 34-20.

After a slow start, the Chiefs scored 31 straight points, led by Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, including this beautiful run.

Edwards-Helaire finished with 138 yards on 25 carries with that touchdown.

Defensively it was a similar story, with the unit shutting down the Texans thanks to the help of Sack Nation, with Chris Jones recording 1.5 sacks.

Rookie L’Jarius Sneed played well in his NFL debut, despite the Texans challenging him throughout the night. He even grabbed his first career interception.
