Hi, what are you looking for?

All Chiefs fans will masquerade as Ravens fans this weekend

Apart from the fight of the GOATS on Sunday, which will see Patrick Mahomes and Co. playing against Tom Brady’s new team, the Buccaneers, the other game of the week most of the Chiefs fans will have an eye on is Steelers vs Ravens.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are having a perfect season so far. 10-0 and a first spot in the AFC conference.

“We can’t let go!”

That’s pretty much what the Steelers fans and personnel are saying week after week, and they are right to fight.

If you’re a Steelers fan in 2020, you should feel pretty good. They are close to making history and they probably feel it. The Chiefs are chasing them though, and they are very close. One mistake and the Steelers could lose the benefits of a perfect season start.

The Ravens, led by the reigning MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, are not stellar this year but they could give some trouble to their East Coast neighbors.

Thanks to a dramatic win over the Raiders on Sunday Night Football, Kansas City sits at 9-1 through 10 games. A few teams are two games behind at 7-3; in previous years, both the Steelers and Chiefs would be paving the way to earn a bye in the postseason. But times have changed and there’s only one bye now, so you have to fight for the right to party!

For sure, the showdown between the Steelers and the Ravens will be followed closely in Kansas City. After their loss against the Tennessee Titans, the Ravens will have to react to gain some momentum. They have fallen to 6-4 and they will be quickly eliminated from AFC North contention if the Steelers beat them this week. So it is time for them to change the course of the season and compete with one of the best AFC teams.

Unfortunately, this highly-anticipated contest has been subject to postponement and has been moved to Sunday afternoon after multiple members of both organizations have tested positive for COVID-19. This is short notice, but the Ravens should be happy about this decision.

The Steelers held a few advantages against the Ravens if this game was to be played on Thursday for Thanksgiving. First, because of their large victory over Jacksonville this weekend, essential players like T.J. Watt, Cameron Heyward, Stephon Tuitt, and Bud Dupree were able to rest heading into this week. Meanwhile, the Ravens had to play all starters until the last minute and into overtime. Tough game for them.

In the end, the Steelers will probably go head to head with the Chiefs to win their ticket to the Super Bowl. That could be interesting seeing the veteran quarterback Roethlisberger vs. one the most talented young player of the last few years Patrick Mahomes. But we’ll be sure Kansas City will be rooting for the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.

The Steelers feel the pressure and will be forced to perform, not to chase perfection, but out of necessity. They will need the first seed in the AFC.

The Steelers are the 18th team in the Super Bowl era to start a season 10-0, and 10 of the previous 17 teams reached the Super Bowl — the most recent being the 2015 Carolina Panthers, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

The Steelers will enter this Sunday game mostly healthy, and they know this eleventh week is crucial., as crucial as it is for the Ravens to stay afloat.

The Ravens have a long history of thriving when the odds are stacked against them. The current Ravens are comfortable having the odds stacked against them and perhaps even better off as underdogs!

“Never easy, never pretty” became a popular mantra from head coach John Harbaugh.  Let’s see what they can do against the current best team of the AFC…
