Ranking every draft pick of the Andy Reid era

Andy Reid has cemented his legacy as one of the all-time most winning coaches and has done so by the elite ability to build a team. With the most recent class, we’ve now been blessed with eight Andy Reid draft classes. And a ring, had to throw that in there.

For obvious reasons, I’m not going to rank the 2020 class, even though I think it would hold it’s own, but that’s a different article. From 2013-2019, Andy Reid has pulled the trigger on exactly 50 players, and you’ll never guess who’s number one. Okay fine, that was a lame dad joke, but you’ll never guess who’s 50th! Unless you’re a fullback fanatic….

1. Patrick Mahomes

2. Travis Kelce

3. Chris Jones

4. Tyreek Hill

5. Marcus Peters

6. Mitch Morse

7. Kareem Hunt (Most potential to fall)

8. Eric Fisher

9. Dee Ford

10. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

11. Steven Nelson

12. Mecole Hardman (Highest potential to rise)

13. Juan Thornhill (Barely lower than Mecole)

14. Derrick Nnadi

15. Chris Conley

16. Tanoh Kpassagnon (I’m still a believer)

17. Breeland Speaks (Who knows)

18. DeMarcus Robinson

19. Zach Fulton

20. De’Anthony Thomas

21. James O’Shaughnessy

22. Knile Davis

23. Darwin Thompson

24. Khalen Saunders

25. Rashad Fenton (This year should help his ranking)

26. Eric Murray

27. Armani Watts (Make or break year)

28. Eric Kush

29. Phillip Gaines (Bye, Phillip)

30. D.J. Alexander

31. Nick Allegretti

32. Rakeem Nunez-Roches

33. Ramik Wilson

34. Dorian O’Daniel

35. Mike Catapano

36. Kevin Hogan

38. Ukeme Eligwe

39. Aaron Murray

40. Parker Ehinger

41. Dadi Nicolas

42. Jehu Chesson

44. Nico Johnson

45. Sanders Commings

46. KeiVarae Russell

47. Khalil McKenzie

48. Leon McQuay

49. Da’Ron Brow

50. Braden Wilson

This list is based on this snapshot in time, obviously, there’s tons of room for it to fluctuate. Putting Steven Nelson over Mecole Hardman was a hard one for me, but it’s as of right now, it’s true. It was easy to put a guy like KeiVarae Russell at 46, being he was drafted in the third round, and never played a meaningful down. Also, the hype around some of these guys was downright cruel. I was sure Sanders Commings was going to be a stud. What players on this list were you SURE were going to make it? Let us know yours!
